Position Summary:
The Office of Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) facilitates professional development opportunities for educators and other service professionals.
Duties:
100The incumbent will be responsible for teaching one or more credit courses at the professional development level in a manner consistent with the student learning outcomes and assessment methods specified in the course syllabus.Essential
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: |
Candidates will be evaluated on suitability of their academic preparation, documented past teaching experience, and potential to provide high-quality instruction to students participating in professional development offerings. Knowledge of accepted instruction methods. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Public speaking skills. Customer service skills. |
Preferred Experience & Education: |
Minimum of one year teaching experience in field relevant to courses taught.

Required Experience & Education: |
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with extensive training and/or expertise in content area and background in education or education-related field.

Salary Information: |
This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position. Salaries may vary based upon education and experience.
