Teaching and Learning
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have expertise and experience relevant to teaching the specific course content. Experience teaching college-level courses in Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, Language Education, Special Education, or Teaching and Learning is preferred.
REQUIRED EDUCATION OR TRAINING:
The successful candidate will have at least a Masters degree in Education or closely related field. Successful applicants must provide official transcripts documenting academic credentials required for the position as a condition of employment.
Applicants should be prepared to upload the following documents as part of their application:
1) Comprehensive CV
2) Cover letter that notes the department you are applying for (Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, Language Education, Special Education, or Teaching and Learning), the relevance of your education and experience to this adjunct position, and the course or areas of expertise you feel you are qualified to teach.
3) Contact information for three professional references.
Additionally, please email copies of unofficial transcripts to Amanda Vredenburg at akvredenburg@alaska.edu. Official transcripts will be required if an offer of employment is made.
