Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Knowledge of technical area of expertise, experience sufficient to perform the duties required by the program. Successful candidate(s) for this position must have:
• Experience with supplies, hand and power tools, and equipment (such as iron worker and , band saws), used in welding.
• Experience with gasses used in welding environments (such as acetylene, oxygen , blue shield and argon.)
• Ability to assist with assessing and maintaining welding shop safety.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both faculty and students, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work with students from diverse populations.
• Ability to make sound judgments and to maintain confidentiality. Preferred Experience & Education:
- Experience commensurate with the position responsibilities within a welding or manufacturing shop, or equivalent.
- Experience working with welding machines, tools and equipment, preferred.
- Welding experience preferred.
Required Experience & Education:

Educational / vocational experience in subject area sufficient to perform the typical duties as required by program coordinator.

Salary Information:

This is a part-time, on-call, temporary non-exempt position.  Salaries begin at $20.47 and are based on education and experience.
