Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to teach effectively in an online environment.
Knowledge of accepted instructional methods.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Familiar with computer and other technologies for instruction, such as Blackboard. Preferred Experience & Education:
Teaching experience in different modalities – face-to-face, hybrid, online synchronous and online asynchronous, as well as ability to use technology to support teaching and learning.
Required Experience & Education:

Terminal degree (or its equivalent) as defined by the academic unit and as appropriate for the position held
3 years of relevant experience in the field or courses to be taught.

Salary Information:

This is a temporary faculty position. Salary is based on the number of previous semesters teaching experience within the University of Alaska.
