Position Summary:

The Learning Resource Center (LRC) of Mat-Su College is seeking a test proctor to assist with campus testing needs.


100Establish and maintain certification for test programs such as Pearson VUE, TEAS and CLEP. Work with students, faculty, and other organizations to successfully deliver tests. Matanuska Susitna College is looking for a test proctor for the Learning Resource Center (LRC) to administer computer and paper-based tests. The test proctor position is part-time temporary and the schedule may vary depending on department needs. Hours will range between 15-29 per week. Days of the week coverage is needed are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, & occasionally evenings or weekends (depending on needs of campus testing). 


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Ability to maintain student confidentiality and secure test documents
General knowledge of computer processes and internet browsers
Ability to follow directions and strict proctoring protocols
Attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with students from diverse populations

Knowledge of Banner preferred

Typical Experience:
Previous experience with testing or a college setting preferred
Required Education or Training:

High School Diploma or GED required

Salary Information:

This is a part-time, temporary staff position with a starting hourly rate of $16.15
