The Employee Experience department is seeking a media and events coordinator to assist with providing opportunities for new and existing employees to build community, attend development sessions, and connect to resources during the onboarding process and throughout their time with UAA. The Employee Experience department is a fun environment in which to work and its programs operate with a positive and lighthearted style.
Serve as an ambassador for the EE department and its programs and services.
Attend and assist with EE events.
Attend events of campus collaborators when available and/or when invited as part of your role in the EE department.Essential
Coordinate with the EE director to document expenditures for events, special projects, and other departmental needs.
Inventory and purchase supplies for all department functions.
Monitor and respond to email inquiries sent to EE departmental inboxes.
Ensure that the EE director and stakeholders are informed about the progress of events, programs, strategy, etc.
Provide miscellaneous administrative support as assigned.Essential
Coordinate all event details to include logistics, marketing, and budget management.
Collaborate with the EE director to develop engaging event ideas.
Create and maintain an annual calendar of all EE events.
Manage data related to event and program participation and produce reports appropriate for sharing with campus leadershipEssential

Develop a comprehensive marketing and communications plan for Employee Experience (EE) that engages all UAA employees.
Maintain working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar software programs necessary to produce high-quality photographs, digital files, and publications.
Ensure all EE publications and digital media are compliant with all UA, state, and federal regulations and copyright laws.
In collaboration with EE director, maintain tracking system for program participants.
Assist with development and updates to Blackboard course content.
Manage forms and data in Qualtrics.Essential
Lead small working groups in the creation of various program components as assigned. Examples include video project coordination, campus tour planning, new programs, etc.Essential

Minimum of one year of relevant work experience related to administrative assisting, project management, event planning, and/or media and communications.
|Required Education or Training:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Graphic Arts or related field preferred or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule, Grade 79, based on education and experience.
