1-75%Teach five to seven courses at the undergraduate and graduate level during the academic year; create new course curriculum for in-person and online courses; incorporate experiential learning into the curriculum; prepare syllabi consistent with UAF guidelines; hold regular office hours; and participate in assurance of learning.Essential

Candidates are required to possess an earned Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or a closely related field. Candidates must be able to teach accounting both in-person and online. Candidates with industry experience in accounting are preferred.
Primary duties are to teach five to seven courses per year at the undergraduate/graduate level. Outstanding teaching and excellent communication skills are required. Candidates will participate in departmental and university service and engage in continuing professional development and research. |Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
||Ability to teach undergraduate courses in Accounting. Successful applicants should have a portfolio of current relevant work experience in Accounting. Preferred candidates will have experience teaching both online and in the classroom.
Candidates should have current and relevant work experience in Accounting. CPA and/or CIA preferred.
|Required Education or Training:
Candidates are required to possess an earned Bachelor of Accounting or a related degree. Master's degree preferred.
This is a 9-month, full-time appointment with a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. Salary is based on UNAC Grade 40, and is dependent on education and experience.
