The University of Alaska Fairbanks, Community and Technical College is looking for student assistants to provide faculty, staff and general support for our programs. Join our team to help prepare Alaskans for Alaska jobs!
Specific duties vary depending on the program or unit assigned.
Student assistants are selected on a semester-by-semester contract basis.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- UA student enrolled in 6 or more credits with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
- Knowledge of office practices and procedures, proficient use of computers (including word processing), and good organizational skills.
- Ability to work with faculty, staff, student, and visitors to UAF Community and Technical College locations effectively and in a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently when required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
Dependent upon the needs of the program supported.
REQUIRED EDUCATION OR TRAINING:
None
Compensation is commensurate with experience and the type of work assigned. Starting hourly rate is $12.00 per hour for a Student Assistant 2 position and is negotiable DOE.
