Position Summary:

Duties:

100%Works under general or intermittent supervision. Duties are varied and require some independent judgment. Examples of typical work include: scanning and/or indexing documents in our digital database (OnBase), completing verifications, assisting HR personnel with various projects, and other tasks as assigned.Essential

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail, have excellent organizational skills, and be able to articulate and communicate effectively.
  • Must have an understanding of handling confidential information and adhere to strict confidentiality protocol.
  • Preferred ability to work independently.
  • Basic knowledge of computer operations and software applications.
  • Problem solving/decision making skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Typical Experience:

Preferred experience with office-based software.

Required Education or Training:

Applicant must be a University of Alaska student, enrolled and regularly attending six (6) or more credit hours and must possess a 2.0 or better cumulative grade point average (CGPA)

Type of Employment:

This is a Student Assistant 2 position; pay is $13.03 per hour
