The Animal Resources Center is seeking experienced grounds crew/maintenance workers to assist with maintenance and operations of the Robert G. White Large Animal Research Station. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of hand and power tools and their safe operation.
Experience with tractors, mowers, ATVs.
Familiarity with small engines and power equipment.
Ability to exhibit a high degree of professionalism.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to prioritize and use good judgment.
Ability to multitask.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High degree of independence and problem-solving ability required.
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Grounds crew or maintenance experience preferred. Experience working with or around animals helpful but not required.
