Position Summary:

The Center for Student Engagement (CSE) is looking for a high-energy, self-motivated, team-oriented student office manager that can contribute to the mission and values of CSE. This position will support a wide variety of student affairs projects including assisting the director in projects, supporting CSE departments with specific tasks. This student position is very dynamic and requires a person that is very creative, has excellent customer service, has organization skills, and someone who can have fun! A successful candidate must be a self-starter, as there can be limited supervision at times. With this job, comes a welcoming team of people who are supportive and awesome!


100Manage the day to day operations of the office (staff calendar updates, department emails, ordering supplies), greeting and assisting students as they enter the office, help brainstorm, plan and execute campus-wide events, assist in the Student Employee Program, and collaborate with other student employees. The position provides direct assistance to the director of CSE.Essential

Must be very organized, and task-oriented.
Can provide positive customer service.
Must be able to work and navigate the Google Suite applications.
Be a creative thinker, open-minded, problem solver.
Attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with other students and departments.
Knowledge of CSE’s programs and events.
Excellent communication skills


One year office/administrative experience.


Must be enrolled as a student in at least 6 credits at UAF and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0

This is a Student Assistant C position which will pay $11.00 per hour at 20 hours per week. 

Applicants must be enrolled as UAF students taking a minimum of 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or a newly enrolled student.
