TRIO Student Support Services is looking part time mathematics, science, and anatomy/physiology tutors to assist students in obtaining academic excellence. Flexible schedules are available. Tutoring students as assigned and needed.
Ability to independently schedule and convene appointments and to work assigned hours, possibly including evenings or weekends. Must possess excellent problem solving, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to work with a diverse population. Ability to effectively explain and demonstrate academic content concepts using a variety of teaching and rhetorical strategies.
Completion of college-level coursework with an average of 3.0 or higher in subjects tutored.
REQUIRED EDUCATION OR TRAINING:
Prior tutoring experience preferred, but not required. Orientation or training provided upon hire.
