WWAMI School of Medical Education is seeking applicants for a research technician position. This position will contribute to the planning, design, and modification of studies and experiments in support of laboratory goals.

The main emphasis of this position will be to work with Dr. Holly Martinson to conduct a variety of research projects. This position will contribute to the planning, design, and modification of studies and experiments in support of laboratory goals. Dr. Martinson’s research is focused on the development of cancer vaccines and immunotherapeutic treatments utilizing a nanoparticle delivery system.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: • Have an understanding of how learning/research/creative processes works. • Ability to collaborate and work in a diverse environment. • Good organizational skills. • Good communication skills. • Have experience, or interest and capacity to learn curricular or research design and support.
Required Experience:• Prior lab experience (greater than 6 months) • Experience with flow cytometry, cell culture, molecular biology techniques (RT-PCR)
Typical Education or Training: Awarded Bachelor's degree
Minimum Hourly Rate: $17.67/hour
