Position Summary:

This is a labor pool from which the College of Arts and Sciences Mathematical and Natural Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Performing & Fine Arts will draw when graduate research assistants are needed to work on grant-funded projects. The position may be part or full time. Incumbents will join faculty and researchers who are active in conducting research in various disciplines. This will include working on one or more funded projects in these research areas under the guidance of Principal Investigators.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:  Knowledge of research methods.

Required Experience: Varies according to research project needs.

Typical Education or Training: Bachelors Degree and enrollment in a graduate program at the University of Alaska.

Acceptance into the pool does not constitute an offer of employment.

Minimum hourly rate: $17.54/hour.
