Position Summary:

The cook will prepare lunch and dinner for about 25 people using prepared food.

Duties:

100PWSC’s Maritime Academy needs a cook from April 17th to April 25th. The cook will prepare lunch and dinner for 25 people using prepared food. Primary duties are to heat prepared food and serve it to the program participants on time each day. Example lunches will be soup and sandwiches where the sandwiches will be built by the students. Dinner will be an entrée that’s baked and a salad and vegetable. The cook will be responsible to prepare, serve, and clean up for lunch and dinner.Essential

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Knowledge of safe food handling principles.
Ability to use basic kitchen equipment.
Verbal and written communication skills.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION OR TRAINING:

Ability to obtain safe food handling certification.
