Student ePortfolio (eWolf) Coach needed. This position is a Student Assistant C Labor Pool at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
Academic Innovations & eLearning is recruiting for a student coach to support incorporating the University’s ePortfolio (eWolf) initiative. The student in this position will work with and tutor students and faculty creating and revising e-portfolios. This includes leading workshops, and working with associated portfolio digital artifacts they may include (e.g. - documents, PowerPoints, podcasts, slideshows, videos).
Knowledge of common digital tools (e.g. – Word, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Internet browsers, etc.).
Comfortable in working with/using online services.
Knowledge and/or the ability to develop, create, and organize e-portfolios and/or digital stories.
Ability to exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and trouble-shooting.
Must be punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
Must work well with individuals with varied experiences in technology.
Must have clear communication skills and attention to detail.
Strong customer service skills and ability to work individually and in groups.
Typical Education or Training:
At least 6 credits of English composition.
Maintain 3.0 grade point average.
