Associate Director of Equity & Compliance/ Deputy Title IX Coordinator Juneau
The Associate Director of Equity & Compliance/ Deputy Title IX Coordinator will be responsible for: Title IX complaints and investigations and VAWA compliance. This position will serve as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator and lead investigations in sex and gender-based harassment or discrimination. This position participates in collaborative and coordinated efforts in University-wide policy development, monitoring, complaint processes, consulting, education and outreach, and information and reporting. Civil Rights complaints and investigations. This position will serve as the Lead Civil Rights Investigator in complaints into violations of Title VI, Title VII, FMLA, ADA and Section 504 Rehabilitation Act, and relevant University Policies on discrimination. This position provides leadership and expertise on matters of discrimination impacting faculty, staff, students, student employees, and members of the public throughout Southeast Alaska. Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Crime Statistics Act compliance. This position will serve as the Assistant Clery Act Compliance Coordinator. This position provides direct support for the Director of Equity & Compliance in the annual Security and Fire Safety Report and assists in determining reportable Clery Crimes per federal law. The Assistant Clery Compliance Coordinator is a professional resource for all laws and regulations outlined in the federal Clery Act.
