College of Engineering GenCyber Academy Assistant Instructor Anchorage
The UAA GenCyber Academy is a cybersecurity-themed summer camp program for youth in the 10th to 12th grades. We seek to hire 3 current UAA students, with preference given to students with 300-level computer science coursework and an understanding of cybersecurity concepts. Quality candidates will be energetic, patient, and communicative self-starters who are passionate about engaging youth in STEM topics. The employment period is mid-April to early August, 2023. The work schedule will be 5-10 hours per week in April and May, including four required Saturdays, and 40 hours per week beginning in June. Pay is $15.00 per hour.
Functional Administrator Anchorage
The University of Alaska Anchorage, Division of Campus Services, seeks a Functional Administrator to oversee their Scheduling & Space Management System (SSMS) operations and other projects within Campus Services. Working under the oversight of the Campus Services Senior Fiscal Officer, the Functional Administrator is responsible for the division administration of UAA’s Scheduling Management System, scheduling oversight for Campus Services locations and resources, streamlining and maintaining effective event billing practices, and completing other special projects as outlined by the Senior Fiscal Officer. UAA’s TRIO Pre-College Programs is seeking multiple individuals to serve as math/science tutors for TRIO Upward Bound and Educational Talent Search students at Bettye Davis East High School, West High School, and/or Bartlett High School.
