UAF Utilities Combined Heat and Power Plant Safety Officer
Come join our Safety Team at UAF! The UAF Utilities Combined Heat Power Plant Safety Officer position is responsible for overseeing occupational safety and health at our coal-fired power plant. As part of the Environmental, Health, Safety and Risk Management team, this position must be able to interpret and apply OSHA regulations, current and new, to the power plant and its associated facilities, perform incident investigations, and manage compliance with OHSA, EPA, and other state and federal regulations. The position requires the ability to analyze and resolve complex safety situations that may impact critical infrastructure (heat and power) and campus-wide operations. The UAF Combined Heat and Power Plant Safety Officer must demonstrate a high degree of interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with and train power plant employees, as well as successfully manage and coordinate occupational health and safety requirements for the power plant.
The UAF Office of the Registrar is soliciting applications for the Assistant Registrar position. Complex Behavior Specialist
The UAA Center for Human Development is seeking a full-time Complex Behavior Specialist ABA/ Mental Health Provider 2 to work across multiple settings and client populations as a Consultant for the Effective Behavior Interventions Clinic. This position requires the ability to teach and guide others through the process of a functional behavioral assessments and the design and implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans as well as facilitate and lead multidisciplinary teams.
A successful candidate will be able to build excellent realistic individualized plans using the principle of applied behavior science and has the ability to work in diverse environments in both rural and urban Alaska. This position requires an ability to facilitate, motivate and respectfully lead complex multi-disciplinary teams while building individual team member’s capacity to use applied behavioral interventions to address challenging behaviors. Public Relations and Communications Specialist

Program Assistant-TRIO Upward Bound
Seeking a Program Assistant for TRIO Upward Bound (UB). This position is a full-time, grant funded 11-12 month position (depending on grant funds) on the University of Alaska Anchorage Campus. Upward Bound is one of two TRIO Programs currently hosted by the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA). UB serves first-generation and low-income student populations in their preparation for and transition to postsecondary enrollment and completion. There are two UB grants serving 60 high school students each at Bartlett and West High Schools in grades 9 through 12. The Program Assistant will be split between the two grants.
