Position Summary:
The Alaska Center for Energy and Power (ACEP) provides UA Graduates with valuable learning and employment opportunities in a variety of fields including engineering and technology. ACEP works with Alaskan communities and industries as leaders establishing the energy systems of the future. If you are a UA Graduate student with a passion for research, please consider applying to the Alaska Center for Energy and Power (ACEP) Graduate Assistant Research pool. Multiple departments within ACEP may be hiring from this pool during the year and duties assigned will vary depending on the specific department’s needs.
Duties:
100Assist with research projects.
Perform tasks related to specific function/program assigned.
Assist in the collection of data and/or conduct independent research for the unit specific to the assignment.
Assist in specialized administrative, technical, or editorial duties connected to research and creative activities.Essential

Have experience, or interest and capacity to learn curricular or research design and support.

Required Experience & Education: |
Awarded Bachelor's degree and pursuing a graduate degree at UAF.
Experience in the RA topic area required.

Salary Information: |
This is a graduate student position. New hires will be placed on the ACEP graduate student payscale based on education achieved.

Special Instructions to Applicants: |
This position will be physically located at the UAF campus in Fairbanks, Alaska. The successful finalist will be expected to report to duty at the UAF office on the first day of employment.
