1-35Manage the administrative services office functions for the CRCD Kuskokwim Campus and have signature delegation for appropriate documents. Coordinate, maintain and monitor Campus Functional Use Survey, building leases, equipment inventory and key issues. Oversee all payroll and work with CRCD HR.Essential
2-30Assist Director, faculty and staff with grants and contract administration to include pre and post awards such as proposal preparation, budget calculations, submission, management and reporting. Advise on UA and agency policies, procedures, rules and regulations. Provides accurate detailed information on expenditures, available balances, and agency restrictions on use of funds. Tracks grant/contract expenditures through completion.Essential
3-20Coordinate with KuC Facilities employees to negotiate pricing and billing for building and grounds maintenance which includes plumbing, heating, electrical, sprinkler, telephone system, fire alarm, janitorial and snow removal.Essential
4-15Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, travel and payroll functions.Essential
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Applicants must possess advanced knowledge of automated accounting systems and electronic spreadsheets. Funding specific knowledge that includes grant processes, grant account reconciliation, unrestricted accounts, and private funds.

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, in-depth knowledge of accounting system functions or procedures in accounts receivable, accounts payable, travel, purchasing, and payroll.

Demonstrated experience in banner finance and ability to train and provide guidance to lower-
level technicians. Ability to work independently, strong written and oral communication skills, strong organizational and prioritizing skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and good customer service skills. Ability to work with complex systems and accounts.
Typical Experience:
Knowledge of the University banner system, UA BOR policies and regulations; fiscal technician experience in UA environment; ability to multitask with many interruptions; ability to troubleshoot and identify problematic issues; training in Vista Plus; UAF departmental credit card reconciliation training; knowledge of specific restricted account funding; knowledge of Financial Services, purchasing; and grants and contracts procedures.
Required Education or Training:

Associate's degree in applied Accounting or related field and three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Salary Information:

This is a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt, term-funded, staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule (Bethel), Grade 38_78, based on education and experience.
