The University of Alaska Risk Services team clerical pool is the recruitment pool for clerical support tasks required as needed on a temporary basis. The position would assist in documenting, reporting, and light accounting work for cost-recovery submissions within FEMA's Public Assistance grant program.
30Inventorying files in order to file for claims.Essential
30Organizing, documenting, reporting, accounting, and uploading of files required for receiving state and federal recovery funds.Essential
40Support the documentation and reporting requirements related to the filing for reimbursement from FEMA and the AK DHS.Essential
|Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
||Knowledge of basic computer operations, phone skills, and office etiquette. Ability to operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to follow directions given by supervisors or co-workers. Ability to file and track information.
Associates degree and six months office/administrative experience, or an equivalent
combination of training and experience.
|Required Education or Training:
Associates degree. Bachelor's degree preferred.
This is a part-time, non-exempt, temporary position. New hires will be placed on the UA staff temporary salary schedule, Grade 77, based on education and experience.
