Position Summary:

This posting is for those graduate students who have been selected for a research assistantship with any department within the UAF Institute of Arctic Biology. The assistantship is per semester or full academic year basis.

This posting is for those graduate students who have been selected for a research assistantship with any department within the UAF Institute of Arctic Biology.  The assistantship can be per semester or full academic year basis.

Please attach your resume. The resume should indicate at minimum the date your Undergraduate or Graduate degree was awarded and in what educational area, which graduate degree you are pursuing.

The assistantship does include a tuition waiver, health care coverage, and a stipend. Stipend amount is commensurate with degree in hand at the time of application. For more information you can contact the IAB Human Resources office via email with your questions.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Have experience, or interest and capacity to learn curricular or research design and support. Have an understanding of how learning/research/creative processes works. Be able to collaborate and work in a diverse environment. Good organizational skills. Good communication skills.

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

Experience in the RA topic area required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION OR TRAINING:

Awarded Bachelor's degree and pursuing a graduate degree at UAF.
