Position Summary:

Are you a currently enrolled student looking to add professional work experience that compliments your academic career to your resume? The College of Natural Science and Mathematics promotes students' self-motivation to excel and guides them towards professional careers and public service in an environment of life-long learning. CNSM is seeking UAF students to fill a variety of positions.


100Duties will vary dependent on the needs and department. May include office work: answering phones, processing paperwork, etc. May include assisting with courses, grading papers, tutoring, etc.Essential


- As the first point of contact, the student must exhibit a high degree of professionalism.
- Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Must be comfortable speaking to a variety of audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Competency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to prioritize and use good judgement.
- Ability to multi-task.

- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Working knowledge of maintaining databases.
