Position Summary:

The UAA Office of the Bursar is seeking applicants for the position of Student Assistant. This position works within the Cashiering and Wolfcard suite and is responsible for Wolfcard (campus ID) card issuance, customer service, data entry, and other activities in support of the Office of the Bursar.

Duties:

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • High level of detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Customer service experience
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize MS Office Suite

REQUIRED EDUCATION OR TRAINING:

  • High school diploma
  • Some college-level accounting courses are preferred

This position is located on the UAA Anchorage campus - remote work is unavailable for this position.

This position will be required to work up to 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM.
