Position Summary:

If you are highly motivated, dependable, and have a desire to work in an academic setting, the Sitka Campus encourages you to apply to our Testing and Student Services Coordinator temporary position. This position supports the needs of various departments on campus with a main focus in the Student Services Department. Overall duties may include: testing center testing administration and coordination, providing professional and friendly customer service, and offering general educational support for students in on campus and remote settings.

Duties:

100%Provide professional customer service in-person and on the telephone; Serve as primary proctor for local Sitka tests; Manage testing and student services email mailboxes and calendars; Schedule testing appointments; Assist with distance student testing and proctoring setup; Basic office/clerical tasks; Data entry; Answer multi-line phone; Manage confidential documents; Photocopying; Support special projects and events; File confidential paperwork; Fax confidential paperwork; Compile paperwork; Provide front desk coverage; Other duties as assigned.Essential

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

General knowledge of basic office procedures and equipment
Basic clerical skills including accurate typing, data entry, and filing
Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs
Attention to detail
Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Strong organizational skills
Ability to exercise courtesy and tact in-person and on the phone
Ability to handle confidential information and maintain confidentiality

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

Proctoring experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION OR TRAINING:

One year college coursework in related field and one year relevant experience, or an equivalent
combination of training and experience.
