The University of Alaska Fairbanks Community and Technical College is looking for student assistants to provide faculty and staff with general support for our programs. Specific duties vary depending on the program or unit assigned.
Student assistants are selected on a semester-by-semester contract basis.

UA student enrolled in 6 or more credits with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
Knowledge of office practices and procedures, proficient use of computers (including word processing), and good organizational skills.
Ability to work with faculty, staff, student, and visitors to UAF Community and Technical College locations effectively and in a professional manner.
Ability to work independently when required.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
REQUIRED EDUCATION OR TRAINING:

Compensation is commensurate with experience and the type of work assigned. Starting hourly rate is $10.50 per hour for a Student Assistant C position.
