The Research Professional will work as part of the Center for Human Development's research and evaluation team to complete project
objectives. The incumbent will organize, plan, and design, research/evaluation activities, analyze and synthesize results, and write project reports.
- Solve complex research questions/problems using analytical skills.
- Create reports for use in publications.
- Ability to combine own research/evaluation work with the work of others with regard to grant writing and project completion.
- Knowledge of data collection and data entry procedures.
- Ability to use computerized tools to organize and analyze information (e.g., spreadsheets, SPSS, Qualtrics, Google Sheets).
- Ability to manipulate data to produce charts, graphs, and tables.
- Ability to conduct literature reviews.
- Good writing and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple activities and projects independently.
- One year experience in social science, natural science, mathematics, and/or statistics.
- Experience in one or more of the following: special education, employment services, research/evaluation activities, or a setting working with people with disabilities.
Typical Education or Training:
BA or BS and one year experience in a field relevant to research (e.g., social science, natural science, mathematics, statistics), or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Salary: $26.08 per hour/minimum or depending on experience
This position is a term-funded position and is reviewed annually for contract renewal at the University's discretion.
