Student Assistant C
KSUA 91.5 FM is UAF's student-run radio station. The Volunteer Coordinator serves as KSUA's first point of contact with volunteers. As Volunteer Coordinator, you will be responsible for recruiting and training new volunteers, scheduling shows, and working with the rest of KSUA staff on projects. You will work with the KSUA music director to ensure that volunteers and shows are scheduled to have a variety of content for listeners throughout the week.
This is a great position for outgoing people as recruitment will play a large part of your job during the semester as well. Our ideal candidate would have experience in radio or work history in management. Having a flexible schedule is ideal to meet the needs of KSUA's many volunteers and staff.
$10.50/hour, up to 20 hours per week.
This is a student position, requiring at least a 2.0 GPA and enrollment in 6 or more credit hours.
Experience working or volunteering in a radio station, prior experience training, managing or leading others.
