Position Summary:

This position with Northwest Campus provides evening support for on campus students and faculty.

Duties:

10%Faculty and Staff Support Assist faculty and staff with projects and events: Making copies, mailings, class supplies (biology kits), other assistance as needed. Handle phones and requests from the public, and route calls to appropriate staff or faculty.Essential
5%Campus Security Maintain a safe campus environment during open evening hours. At closing, students ensure windows and doors are closed and locked throughout campus. Alert staff to any observed safety or maintenance issues.Essential
85%Student Support Assist students with online access and support, computer troubleshooting, proctoring of exams. Assist with and respond to student, staff and community requests and take appropriate action. Communicate with appropriated departments regarding course information. Support campus course offerings and events.Essential

This position provides evening on-campus support for students and faculty. It is a part-time, non-benefitted position, Monday-Thursday, 4-8:30 pm during the academic year. There may be some flexibility on closing hours, depending on support needs.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Good time management skills, ability to work independently, problem solving skills, computer proficiency, customer service skills, ability to communicate effectively.

Required Education: 1 year college course work.

Typical Experience: 6 months relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
