Position Summary:

Our Creative Agency marketing area is seeking students with various communication and web management skillsets to help provide external-facing website content quality control and assistance. This is an opportunity to improve skills and get professional experience in a fast-paced, dynamic and fun environment.

Duties

A student in this position will work primarily to improve the quality of our website. Work assignments may include:

  1. Finding and fixing broken links and cleaning up misspellings
  2. Creating documentation for our internal use as well as for our content authors and maintainers
  3. Testing a new website theme and component releases
  4. Finding and fixing accessibility issues in web pages
  5. Monitoring website outages and error reports

The UAS Creative Agency will typically consider applicants who can work a minimum of 15 hours/weekly and maintain a consistent work schedule throughout the academic year.

Student Employment Requirements:

  • Must be a UAS student enrolled in a maximum of six credit hours throughout the employment period.
  • Must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA throughout the employment period.

This is a part-time Student Assistant B ($10.19/ hour) position during the academic year.
