Position Summary:

This position will research, customize, and publish information on Security Awareness for the Security Administration department, Office of Information Technology. If you have interest in learning new things, data collection, and Security Awareness topics, this position is right for you!

Duties:

10Special projects such as assisting with research, customer contact, and monitoring of security-related incidents.Essential
25Assisting with information security related communication for newsletters and other publications.Essential
5Monitoring of various security systems, logs, and appliances.Essential
60Assisting the Security Awareness Program with web page management and updates.Essential

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Strong communication skills. Ability to collect, compile and apply research data. Basic computer knowledge, ability to use internet, work with web applications, and web development tools. Strong writing skills. Strong project management experience and coordination. Computer programming.

Required Experience:

Entry level position. No experience required.

Typical Education or Training:

High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Students must be taking a minimum of 6 credits and have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher to be eligible for student employment.

This recruitment is a pooled position and will be reviewed on an as-needed basis.
