Position Summary:

The UAA Office of Admissions is looking to hire a Recruitment Coordinator Scheduling Assistant to assist with our new Campus Visit Program. Work will include communication, and scheduling with various departments across campus in order to build individualized campus tours for prospective students.


100Duties will include, but not be limited to: - Act as the lead in booking and customizing group visits to the UAA campus. - Review all campus tour related documentation for accuracy and engaging content (i.e. training documents, presentations, talking points, and email outreach). - Manage campus tours by ensuring tour tasks have been completed, google calendar information is accurate, and tour status is updated in Salesforce. - Ensure all tour inquires are responded to in a timely manner. - Correspond with many departments across campus to build an individualized campus visit schedules for prospective students and their guests. - Produce communications to be sent to various departments regarding tour training, and performance improvements. -Provide weekly reports to Recruitment Coordinator regarding tour performance and task completion. -Assist with office duties as required. -Assist with all Admissions events. -Other duties as assigned.Essential

Recruitment Coordinator Scheduling Assistant

The Recruitment Coordinator Scheduling Assistant is responsible for the administrative duties required for the
Campus Visit Program. This includes, but is not limited to written and verbal correspondence with
prospective students and various departments across campus, schedule coordination, assigning tasks to
various team members, and response to general inquires. Additionally, all Admissions team members are
trained to provide campus tours on an as-needed basis.


Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Applicants must:

- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Have knowledge of UAA campus strengths and resources.

- Have the ability to work with a diverse population of prospective students and their families.

- Possess organizational, active listening and problem solving skills. - Be able to effectively carry out projects with little or no guidance. - Must be able to maintain regular hours, meet deadlines, and work both independently and as a team.

- Be enthusiastic about promoting UAA and sharing their personal experience (in relation to UAA) in a public setting.  


Eligibility - To be eligible for student employment, an applicant must have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. Students must work at least 15 hours a week Monday-Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm and be a currently enrolled student taking 12 credits or more. Ability to work some evening or weekend hours for recruitment events. Ability to pass a background check upon offer of employment.
