The Human Resources Student Pool is open to currently enrolled University of Alaska students across the system. When submitting your application, please indicate your preferred work location in your application materials: Anchorage, Fairbanks, or Juneau.
Basic Duties Basic duties may include answering phones and taking messages, handling incoming and outgoing office mail, responding to general inquiries for information, managing a general email account, photocopying materials as needed for department staff, and various other tasks and projects as assigned.
Student Pool Information This is a student pool position and applications will be reviewed on an as-needed basis during the year. Successful submission of an application does not guarantee employment. Successful applicants will be contacted as positions become available.

Eligibility Requirements To be eligible for student employment, an applicant must:
A) Be enrolled in the University of Alaska system with a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester of employment; or
B) Have been enrolled the preceding semester for six or more credit hours and demonstrate plans to enroll for six or more credit hours in the next semester for employment between semesters; and
C) Have at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or approval from the MAU Senior Student Services officer of the Senior Student Services officer.
D) An applicant must provide evidence of enrollment as outlined above to substantiate employment eligibility.
