The Computer Science department at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor starting Fall 2021. The position requires a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, developing a strong research program and obtaining research funding, publishing in peer-reviewed publications, and performing service. The Alaska Native Studies Program at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) invites applications for a full-time term instructor position. This position is comprised of teaching and service. We are seeking an animal care technician to join the UAF Animal Resources Center. This position will be almost exclusively at the UAF Large Animal Research Station (LARS) with work focused on animal care and welfare, farm operations and maintenance, and operation of facility tours and a gift shop open to the general public. Successful candidate will work closely with the veterinary service team and with faculty, staff, and students conducting approved procedures for research and teaching. Maintenance Service Worker 3 - Grounds/Landscaping Anchorage
Provides for campus beautification and safety by; caring for turf areas, landscaped beds and parking lots, production and care of annual and perennial flowers, snow removal and a full range of other landscaping maintenance tasks. Installs and maintains landscapes, identifies and eradicates pests as necessary. Operates tools and equipment including trucks, tractors, loaders and other tools. Assists in the training and supervision of temporary workers. Year-round exposure to varying weather conditions is to be expected. Heavy lifting occasionally required.
