Director of Disability Services Fairbanks
The University of Alaska Fairbanks is accepting applications for the position of Director of Disability Services (DS). The Director of DS provides leadership and strategic direction for the department. The Director is responsible for providing direct services to students with a wide range of disabilities and serves as a specialist on disability related issues and accommodations. The Director acts as a consultant to faculty and staff to ensure that students receive the accommodations to which they are legally entitled.
REC/ODS Outdoor Programmer & Guide Juneau
Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Campus Recreation and the guidance of the ODS director, this position will develop, execute, and evaluate outdoor outings open to the UAS student body. These outings will vary from day hikes to multi-night cabin trips off the Juneau road system. Pay can take the form of hourly, program credit hours, or a combination of the two.

Assist in ensuring the timeliness and relevance of the school’s messages, the student worker will help the director frame messages, post messages and related written and video content to the various social media sites. In addition, the student worker will assist the director in preparing content about the school, students, staff members, and faculty for dissemination through social media. The student worker will assist the director and other members of the school’s faculty and staff in producing relevant content for building the school’s positive image within the various communities it serves.
