The University of Alaska Southeast Facilities Department is looking for an Emergency Management Coordinator. This position is responsible for the planning, development, maintenance and implementation of UAS emergency plans. This position develops, coordinates and conducts emergency preparedness initiatives in support of UAS campus emergency planning. Work with UAS Departments on their emergency management continuity of operations plans. Identify, develop and deliver training of UAS community for university emergency preparedness. The successful candidate will serve on the UAS Incident Management Team and work closely with Environmental Health & Safety, and the Systems Office of Risk Services. This position reports to the Director of Facilities Services.

Toolik Field Station (TFS) at the Institute of Arctic Biology (IAB) is a world-renowned Arctic field station located 360 road miles north of Fairbanks on the rural Dalton Highway. The remote station supports researchers, students, and others from around the world. The population of the station can vary from 3 to 150 residents (over 400 different individuals annually) and is open 365 days a year. The TFS Facility Supervisor manages many aspects of on-site operations, supervises staff, and provides high-level customer serve to users of the station.

Archives Student Assistant B at the Consortium Library
The UAA/APU Consortium Library supports the educational and research programs of the University of Alaska Anchorage and Alaska Pacific University as well as serving as a major research library for Southcentral Alaska. Archives & Special Collections provides access to unique, one-of-a-kind research materials for the University communities and members of the public. Archives student assistants perform a variety of tasks necessary for maintaining the collection and provide support services to Archives staff and to researchers (see job duties). Although personal preferences will be considered and some scheduling flexibility is offered, the Archives has limited hours and the student assistant will be expected and scheduled to work around their classes within M-F, 9:00 am-5:00 pm.
