The LMS Administrator will have the main responsibility for managing and administering our Learning Management System (Blackboard).
The College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Alaska Anchorage is seeking applicants for an Administrative Specialist. Director of Student Life & Leadership
The Director of Student Life and Leadership oversees and/or leads the following signature programs: Bartlett Lecture Series, Traditions Committee, Concert Board, Emerging Leaders Program, Graphics and Publicity Services, Student Activities & Commuter Programs, Student Clubs and Greek Life, USUAA Student Government, Student Leadership, Student Showcase, and the Student Union. Additionally, the director serves as an administrative advisor to the media board, student newspaper, and the student radio station.

Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant-Certified
The University of Alaska Fairbanks Student Health and Counseling Center is seeking a Family or Adult Mid-level Practitioner to provide health services to UAF students beginning November, 2018. The Center provides medical, counseling and health education services to the UAF student body. Mid level practitioners provide comprehensive, ambulatory health care and health education for university students as a part of the medical staff. This is a full time benefited position during the academic year (nine months from mid-August to mid-May).
Minimal qualifications for this position are as follows: Advanced Nurse Practitioner: National Certification as a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner with relevant licensure in Alaska, Alaska prescriptive authority and DEA number (or eligibility for). Physician's Assistant - Certified: National certification as a Physician's Assistant with relevant licensure in Alaska, Alaska prescriptive authority and DEA number (or eligibility for). The applicant must have the ability to work independently as well as with a health care team. Other qualifications necessary are experience in primary care, health maintenance and general medicine, and health education.

Student Assistant C - University Police Department

Seawolf Safety Patrol (SSP) Officers assist the University Police Department in protecting life and Property through foot patrols, securing checks of University buildings to include UAA Consortium Library on a regular recurring basis. SSP's will also assist with crowd control, detecting criminal activity; in addition, safety service to the UAA community such as providing safety escorts. SSP will have other duties assigned pending the various conditions and works under the general direction of police officers.
Exercises independent judgment and decision-making in dealing with the general public, including sensitive and confidential information. Good physical condition and ability to work in inclement weather required. Background investigation and drug screening required. SSP Officers must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment.
