The College offers both campus-based and online program offerings in teacher preparation (undergraduate and graduate) and educational leadership. The College provides leadership in expanding and coordinating teacher preparation programs across the UA system, working in partnership with the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) and the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF).
Under the direction of the Executive Dean, the full-time administrative position will be responsible for supporting daily operations for the college and assisting the dean with program and curriculum oversight, budget management and scheduling, refinement and development of new programs in concert with faculty, and expansion of professional development opportunities for teachers. In the role of Coordinator of Assessment and Accreditation, the position is responsible for management and oversight of the CAEP accreditation process including quality assurance and use of data for improving candidate learning and program quality. The position prepares and/or assists in the preparation of all required internal assessment reports as well as those required by accrediting bodies, specialty professional associates, and the federal government.
