Social Media Content Assistant Anchorage
The incumbent will work under the supervision of the director of the University of Alaska School of Social Work to develop, maintain, and update content for the school’s website. Assist in ensuring the timeliness of the school’s website. The student worker will collect content, reach out to faculty and students to obtain content, edit the content and ensure its quality and post content to relevant areas of the website. The student worker will assist the school’s director in maintaining the currency of secondary pages including pages the school devotes to research projects, civic engagement projects, and curriculum programs. In addition, the student worker will assist the director in preparing content about the school, students, staff members, and faculty for dissemination to other content providers for the purposes of advancing awareness of the UAA School of Social Work. The student will be involved in helping the director prepare content for university publications and newsletters.
Social Media and Videography Assistant Anchorage
The incumbent will work under the supervision of the director of the University of Alaska School of Social Work to develop, maintain, and update messages, content, and images for the school’s various social media communication tools including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. Assist in ensuring the timeliness and relevance of the school’s messages, the student worker will help the director frame messages, post messages and related written and video content to the various social media sites. In addition, the student worker will assist the director in preparing content about the school, students, staff members, and faculty for dissemination through social media. The student worker will assist the director and other members of the school’s faculty and staff in producing relevant content for building the school’s positive image within the various communities it serves.

Temporary Surplus Property Worker - UAA General Support Services Anchorage
UAA General Support Services consists of the Copy & Print Center, Mailroom/Central Receiving, Surplus & Relocation, and Recycling. This Seasonal position runs November through April. The successful candidate for this position will be assisting the UAF Grounds Crew with the day to day winter grounds maintenance of the UAF campus as well as satellite properties around Fairbanks.

Gift Manager Fairbanks
The University of Alaska Foundation (UA Foundation) seeks an individual to process UAF and Statewide’s daily donations (and backup for the other campuses). The number of donations per week can range from 300-600, depending on the time of year. In addition to depositing and processing donations, this position also works with UAF and Statewide departments on proper donation acceptance methods. The Fund & Gift Services Manager in Fairbanks and this position handle coverage for the office to ensure it is staffed for donation acceptance. The position also assists in processing calendar year end donations during the winter holiday break. Additionally, this position assists in the daily pick up of gifts at the UAF Development office off-campus (the UA Foundation Fairbanks office is on-campus). Therefore, the successful candidate must have access to a vehicle, a valid driver's license, and have the ability to run errands within the Fairbanks city limits.
