Maintenance Specialist (MSW4)
The University of Alaska Southeast, Sitka Campus, is accepting applications for an 11-month, full-time Maintenance Specialist (MSW4). You will assist the Operations Supervisor in managing the facilities of the Sitka Campus. Primary responsibility is to protect university assets and extend the life of university equipment while maintaining cost control and efficiency. Routinely performs a variety of maintenance, repair, and construction tasks in a combination of several trades requiring less than journeyman skills in any one of the trades practiced. Work schedules typically occur during normal business hours Monday through Friday but can require additional call-in and overtime hours for special events and urgent conditions and situations. This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement between the University and Alaska Higher Education Crafts & Trades Employees Local 6070.
Custodian/Maintenance Service Worker
The University of Alaska Southeast, Sitka Campus, is accepting applications for an 11-month, full-time Custodian/Maintenance Service Worker (MSW2). Cleans and protects university facilities, grounds and surrounding areas by performing custodial maintenance duties including dusting, mopping, finishing and buffing floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, cleaning/sanitizing and restocking restrooms, grounds keeping and removing snow, ice and debris. Some responsibilities are required to be performed outside of normal business hours. OIT Systems Engineering - Student Assistant
