Financial Operations Manager
Alaska Center for Conservation Science (ACCS) is seeking applicants for a full time, 12 month Financial Operations Manager position. This position provides fiscal management of all grant, contract, and general fund activity in the Alaska Center for Conservation Science. Provides expertise and guidance on financial management and regulation compliance. Leads the administrative personnel processing paperwork for all associated fiscal and administrative activity.
The financial accountant will be responsible for preparing the University's annual schedule of Federal Award for the entire University of Alaska system, certain year end fund statements, schedules for the annual financial statements, and supplement financial statements. As a liaison, request, collects and verifies audit documents from campuses and respond to auditor's questions relating to federal single audit. Prepares journal entries to record activities of Education Trust of Alaska, prepares its annual financial statements and notes, various schedules relating to year end audit. This position also handles routing functions, such as Statewide depository, monitoring accounts activities, etc, and non-routing functions as requested by management.

CT1 Metering Technician
The University of Alaska Fairbanks Utilities Department is recruiting for a Utilities CT1 Metering Technician responsible for the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair or replacement of all UAF Utilities steam, condensate and water meters. The technician is also responsible for taking readings of the meters across the campus regardless of outside weather conditions or cramped, confined spaces. The position requires a minimum of three years related experience and/or training in utility metering of power, steam and water; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
