10 Assist other COE Program Assistant as needed. Maintain good working relationships with other UAS offices, students, faculty, and community members. Work closely with the Registrar's office to ensure that policies and procedures are followed correctly and in a timely manner. Essential
10 Maintain program completer's Institutional Recommendation files. Process Institutional Recommendation requests for eligible individuals, verifying that individuals have completed the requirements for endorsements and recommendations. Prepare forms for signature of Dean of Education or other certifying officer. Monitor state certification requirements. Essential
40 Program Support: Primary Contact for students regarding UAS and COE administrative and program procedures. Refers questions to program advisors as necessary. Establish/maintain student records with accuracy. Coordinate with the registrar's office, program coordinators, and advisors to monitor and troubleshoot for potential problems. Assist students and faculty with UAS registration, forms and processes. Maintain database on active and completed student files and run reports in support of program review. Submit necessary paperwork to document student progress. Prepare program check sheets to reflect changes made to programs by faculty and published in the UAS catalog. Update all other COE forms used to track student progress as changes occur. Work with Dean's office to ensure that information on all programs is updated and correct on the website. Essential
40 Serve as key administrator of LiveText. Provide on-going development and training to faculty, staff and students on the use of LiveText. Ensure all required data is collected from faculty and students each semester. Responsible for uploading and updating forms and courses in LiveText. Responsible for complying needed LiveText reports. Keep up-to-date on new features and best practices in LiveText. Essential
Required Education/Experience: High School graduation and two years office/administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Experience: Two years of experience performing data entry, spreadsheet creation, and data management. Two-three years serving as either a program or project coordinator.
Effective customer and interpersonal skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to use basic office equipment such as a fax machine, copier, and scanner.
Strong organization skills and ability to manage large filing systems for both electronic and paper records.
Effective professional tact and ability to serve as a point of contact for a single academic program.
Experience working successfully with people of diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds is preferred.
