UAS Dining is looking for a motivated, customer service oriented Cashier and Dining Attendant. Responsibilities may include cash handling,customer service, stocking logo wear, washing dishes, cleaning tables, assistance with catering, decorating, and restocking inventory. This position is open until filled, with an initial applicant screening taking place January 23rd.
This position will primarily work in the Lakeside Convenience Store, with the possibility of additional shifts in the Lakeside Grill depending on availability and interest. We are looking to fill shifts Monday through Friday from 12:00pm - 4:30pm.
This position will be responsible for cash handling, operation of a point-of-sale register/computer, reconciliation of cash drawers, maintaining cleanliness of the work area, restocking and pricing inventory, assistance with managing the online apparel store, and providing excellent customer service.
Previous experience in cashiering, customer service, and operation of a point-of-sale register highly preferred.

NOTICE: Students must maintain enrollment and regular attendance for a minimum of at least 6 undergraduate credit hours or 6 graduate credit hours to be exempt from FICA (Social Security and Medicare) tax. A credit hour load below the minimum required for full-time student status will require the withholding of FICA tax (non-resident aliens on an appropriate visa who meet student employment criteria will continue to be exempt from FICA regardless of credit hour load). While in a student position, a student cannot hold any other type of simultaneous employment with the university.
