Join the Wood Center staff in the Graphics Office as a student graphic designer.
Student graphic designers are responsible for the design, creation and printing of a variety of marketing materials including flyers, posters, banners, and digital media images for a wide variety of costumers (Wood Center programs, student organizations, university departments and other external).
The student Graphic designer must maintain the electronic work order system and invoicing for all work orders. Graphic staff will keep an inventory of supplies and order when needed the paper, toner. They will maintain the computer programs and equipment as needed.
A successful applicant will:
• Have a strong creative design process, with experience working with a variety of graphic design programs such as Photoshop, In-design, Adobe Illustrator. Must be comfortable using Mac computers.
• Be creative, and understand principles of color and design.
• Work as team with other student graphic artists, being able to provide and receive feedback on work.
• Employee excellent customer service to clients.
• Maintain excellent time management and organizational skills
• Pay close attention to detail and has great editing skills
Prior experience with graphic design for marketing purposes

Applicant must be enrolled as a UAF student taking a minimum of 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or a newly enrolled student.
