DHS is the academic home to the Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences Program (BSHS), the Master of Public Health Program (MPH), and the MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Program (PA). The DHS mission is to advance health sciences through the educational opportunities of academic training, research, and community service in order to improve the well-being of the diverse peoples of Alaska and the circumpolar north. ICHS is a small, applied health research unit within the College of Health.
