The University of Alaska Statewide Human Resources Office (SWHR) clerical pool is the SWHR recruitment pool for clerical support tasks required as needed on a temporary basis.
The University of Alaska Statewide Human Resources Office (SWHR) is looking for clerical assistance on a temporary basis. Basic office duties will include answering phones and taking messages, handling all incoming and outgoing office mail, responding to general inquiries for information, managing the SWHR general email account, photocopying materials as needed for department staff, and various other tasks and projects as assigned.
Candidates should have a working knowledge of basic computer operations and be able to operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment. Since this position handles incoming phone calls, basic phone skills and phone etiquette are necessary. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service. Due to the nature of the position, the candidate must be able to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.

High School graduation and six months office/administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Typical Education or Training:
High School graduation or the equivalent.
