The Department of Recreation, Adventure and Wellness is looking for a motivated and creative person to join our team as a Graphic Designer/Marketing Student Assistant.
The Department of Recreation, Adventure and Wellness offers a large variety of programs to campus and community members; everything from equipment rentals, gym memberships, a pool and ice rink. This position would assist the programming staff in marketing events and services to the customer. This team member would create fliers, posters and banners, share information through print, social media and websites. All materials will have a cohesive brand strategy inline with UAF Naturally Inspiring.
Ability to create posters quickly and effectively using Adobe Suite or similar programs. Ability to use correct grammar in all publications, Ability to work under a deadline. Ability to work remotely with regards to updating social media sites. Basic understanding of website design.
Preferred two years of graphic design for art and/or advertising.
Typical Education or Training:
Experience with Roxen Content Manager; preferred past participation with DRAW events/services. Experience managing a 3rd party Facebook page and other social media platforms.
This is a Student C; minimum starting pay $10.50.
