Duties:

The University of Alaska invites applications for a tenure track position in the rank of Assistant Professor in Homeland Security and Emergency Management to begin preferably Spring 2018. The successful candidate will be teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level. The School of Management is accredited by the AACSB. Candidates are required to possess a PhD as well as an earned MBA or equivalent from an AACSB accredited institution.  Candidates are also required to have significant experience managing Information Technology Systems.  Preference will be given to candidates who have industry experience in Cyber Security Management and have experience with grant funding.

The primary duties are to teach courses in Cyber Security Management at the undergraduate and graduate levels.  In addition the candidate will be required to have an active research program and to participate in departmental and university service as well as engage in continuing professional development.
