2.5Communication Generation: Assist with the creation of communication materials including emails, letter, brochures, postcards and other print and digital media. Assist with photo selection. Assist with copy editing.Essential

2.5Inventory: Record materials usage, perform on-hand counts, assist department members requesting materials.Essential
2.5Mail Preparation: Utilizing CRM software, prepare direct mail using a mail merge print process. Utilizing CRM software, prepare direct mail using a bulk data export. Meet USPS mail regulations.Essential
62.5Data Entry and Data Management: Record data from multiple sources (spreadsheets, survey and form responses, information request cards, etc.) into CRM software. Perform data cleanup procedures to ensure quality data.Essential

The Office of Admissions is hiring a Communications Center Student Assistant. This position will assist the Communications and Publications Center in everyday operations including data entry and data management in CRM software, sending bulk emails and print publications to prospective students, content management such as HTML editing and copy editing, and provides support for the recruitment team.

The ideal candidate works well in groups or independently, and is detail-oriented and self-motivated. If this sounds like you, please apply! This position has opportunities for candidates with HTML editing, graphic design layout, copy writing and photo editing experience to use their skills. A portfolio is not required for potential candidates, however it is encouraged. An understanding of HTML and USPS mail and addressing standards is a plus.

This is a part-time offering up to 20 hours/week while school is in session, additional hours available during summer/winter breaks. Student Assistant C positions pay $10.50/hr.
