The College of Liberal Arts is the largest college at the University of Alaska Fairbanks with 40 degree programs over 20 disciplines. We invite anyone interested to apply for our adjunct faculty positions. We are especially interested in applicants who can teach Sociology, History, and Social Work, but are also interested in those who can teach Alaska Native Languages, Anthropology, Art, Communication and Journalism, English, Foreign Languages (French, German, Spanish, Russian, Japanese), Justice, Music, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Theatre, and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
Duties include instructing students in the related subject matter and may also include developing a course outline, syllabus, teaching materials, and tests as needed.
Adjunct positions are on a semester-by-semester contract basis. Successful acceptance into the adjunct pool does not guarantee an offer of a contract. Not all departments are in need of adjunct faculty at this time.
